I’m Hui Joo – a speaker and corporate professional with a deep belief in the power of human connection. For over 20 years, I worked in a Japanese multinational flavour and fragrance company, rising from junior lab assistant to senior executive. Along the way, I learned how structure, clarity, and communication form the bedrock of successful teams.

But I also lived a second life – as a competitive ballroom dancer.

Evenings on the dance floor taught me something my career didn’t: that leadership, trust, and harmony are physical, emotional, and relational. The connection between two people – whether dancing or collaborating – requires respect, rhythm, and shared purpose.

I believe relationships are everything, especially in your career.

That’s the message I now share from the stage.

Through my speaking journey with the Speakers Society, I’ve learned how emotional intelligence, connection, and clarity can help professionals like you grow and be seen, not just as experts, but as leaders.

Speaking emerged as a natural extension of this understanding. What began as helping dance couples turned into helping teams… and now into helping audiences. Today, I speak on how relationships, emotional intelligence, and alignment can drive lasting success in life and career.
